The Black Knight is an optional superboss fought in the Ancient Tree during a second playthrough of Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattackand requires obtaining 80,000 energy. According to the knight himself, he is a messenger of the God of War and Death. He compliments Django on his skill in slaying evil despite his human body and tells him that he's fit to join his God's army. He'll then give you a choice to abandon your mortal form and accompany him to the castle. If you accept the offer, Django falls over dead and you get a Game Over. Decline the offer and he'll challenge you to battle.
When slain, the Black Knight becomes a dark orb and commends you for your victory and that they'll meet again. You also earn the Sleipnir Bike Part, the best one in the game.
Attacks[]
Though his sword may've rusted, this knight still has a few tricks up his sleeves.
- Energy Orb: The Black Knight sends white attacks to attack the player.
- Rotating Blades: The Black Knight is surrounded by two small blades which protect him and stab at Django as well. They can also be destroyed.
- Sword Slash: The Black Knight slashes at Django if the Solar Boy is at a near enough distance.
