Lunar Knights

Lunar Knights (known in Japan as Bokura no Taiyou - Django and Sabata) is a Nintendo DS game released in 2006 by Konami.

Protagonists and Allies

• Lucian

Lucian (Sabata in the Japanese release) is one of the two main heroes, and uses the powers of darkness. He has long purple hair, he wears a long trenchcoat and has an eyepatch (his eyepatch serves to keep the dark powers he has imbued in his body under control. Though it hasn't been confirmed what happens if he takes it off yet, the eyepatch is called "Dark Eye" and can be bought in stores in the game.)His Terrennial is Nero.. whom he "stole" from Dumas seven years prior to the beginning of the game.

Lucian was previously a Guild Gunslinger by the name of Sartana. He was second-in-command, but seeing that his beloved Ellen was kidnapped by Dumas- who at the time was still just an earl- he left the Guild in an attempt to save Ellen even though he knew there was no way to save her from her fate as a Vampire's bride. Before he died, he was able to get ahold some of Dumas's dark powers from his terrenial and thus the terrenial Nero came to be. He claims that he is not Sartana, and that Sartana and Trinity died together, seven years ago. According to some of the members of the Guild he's adept to any kind of Solar Gun but his most favored was the Solar Gun "Bomber", a high-power Solar grenade launcher. By spending so much time with Aaron, Lucian begins to act like Sartana. This is strongly shown near the final battle with Polidori where he says the traditional "The sun will rise tomorrow".

Terrennials

Over the course of the game, the player will unlock special creatures known as Terrennials, who represent specific elements.

• Nero - Lucian's companion and the first Terrennial to appear in the game, who is in the form of a black cat with wings. He has the power of Dark.
• Toasty (Otenko in the Japanese release) - A talking sunflower who first appeared after Aaron was able to fire the Solar Gun Knight for the first time to save Lisabeth. It is revealed he was sleeping inside the Solar Gun Knight to heal his wounds from a battle several years ago. He has the power of Sol.
• Ursula - After purifying Margrave Rhymer, Ursula is freed from the Casket Armor. She (?) has the power of Fire. Her (?) animal representation is a scorpion.
• Tove - He has the power of Earth. He was held by Virginia Poe until the main duo defeated her along with her brother Edgar Poe. His animal representation is a crocodile.
• Alexander (Otfried in the Japanese release) - He has the power of Wind. He was held by Edgar Poe until the main duo defeated him along with his sister Virginia Poe. His animal representaion is an owl.
• Ezra (Liza in the Japanese release) - She has the power of Ice. She was held by Baron Stoker until the main duo defeated him. Her animal representation is a polar bear.
