ShadeMan is also the boss of the multiplayer mode Crossover Battle, available with a link between Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django and MegaMan Battle Network 5. Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django[]

In this crossover between both series, Django and Otenko are returning to the city until they end up meeting again with the character "Blue One", who then reveals himself to be MegaMan.EXE.
After the presentation, MegaMan reveals that ShadeMan has escaped through the Undernet warp hole, and that his power is a very evil NetNavi, filled with dark power and DarkSoul. MegaMan invites us to help him purify ShadeMan again and make Lan more at ease from the threats of evil.

Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack[]

It is a multiplayer Crossover Battle mode, if the player has the Japanese version through the link between Boktai 3: Sabata's Counterattack and Mega Man Battle Network 6. Both players played a battle at the same time with Django and MegaMan helping each other, to face against the two Bosses: ShadeMan and Count.
